Pair of Long 1970s Austrian Eglo Leuchten Frosted Indented Glass Wall Lights
About the Item
Pair of mid century modern 1970s long Eglo Leuchten wall lights with frosted Murano glass. The interior of the glass is blasted with tiny shards of glass to create the frosted effect. The exterior is smooth with indented angled lines which climb to the top on all three sides.
The white lacquered frames are different on each light as shown in one image. The lightbulbs are positioned at slightly different heights but the glass shades are almost identical. One being slightly more frosted than the other which is barely noticeable. One is .5cm wider than the other which I only noticed when measuring them. Each wall light features an integrated white on/off switch on the chrome base underneath.
The wall lights would look amazing at either side of a wall mirror.
The wall lights are in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The original manufacturer's label is visible on one of them.
Each wall light requires 4 x Edison E14 candle lightbulbs.I would recommend hardwiring them to a dimmable switch. Dimmable LED lightbulbs would therefore be required.
