Stunning pair of midcentury sconces in a spectacular cut crystal glass and chromed steel. These fantastic sconces were produced by Kinkeldey in Germany during the 1960s.
In fantastic condition. These sconces are incredibly charming when lit thanks to how the cut crystal glass reflects the light.
The sconces come wired and tested, compatible with both US and UK/EU standards, they use a single E14 light bulb.
A fantastic set of wall lamps, perfect to complement a neoclassical entrance or a mid-century modern project.

Kinkeldey is a German manufacturer of high-end lighting fixtures. The company attracted international attention when it won the prestigious IF Design Award in 1969 with a chandelier fitted with prism cut crystals. During the 1970s Kinkeldey produced a number of variations on this award-winning model, like the one offered here. Though these lamps show the same quality as fixtures of companies like Bakalowits, Lobmeyer and Palwa, the Kinkeldey models tend to be more modern in their design approach.
