About the Item
L&G Studio is proud to present a Myrna, capturing a moment of suspension in space.
The Myrna Wall Mounted light is a large scale light sculpture suspended from the wall and carefully balanced on an articulating, adjustable arm. The height of the shade can be adjusted simply by moving the round counterweight along the arm. The lamp’s large perforated reflector shade and handblown glass globe (by John Hogan) create a soft glow and gentle shadows which create a micro-environment around the lamp.
This edition was developed as a collaborative commission for Giancarlo Valle Studio. Originally conceived as an alternative to an overhead dining chandelier, L&G worked closely with GVS to create a emotive, gestural statement piece that creates an intimate space around the center of the table.
The Myrna Wall Mobile comes in two sizes: Small & Large. Featured photo shows the Myrna Wall Mobile in Small. Last two photos shows the Myrna Wall Mobile - Large.
For smaller spaces or for corner spaces, we recommend the Myrna Swing Arm, which also comes in two sizes (small and large) to fit each individual space.
Fixture can be made as a plugin fixture or hardwired fixture.
Myrna is available for custom commissions tailored to the spaces’ needs.

Ladies & Gentlemen Studio is a multi-faceted design studio based in Brooklyn, New York.
