Adjustable 'Megaphos' Wall Applique by C.F Otto Mueller, Sistrah, Germany, 1930s

About the Item

A rare Megaphos adjustable wall applique by C. F. Otto Meuller for Sistrah Licht GmbH Beautiful construction and functional Bauhaus wall applique This lamp features a left to right swivel arm so it can be positioned in your desired direction The light bulb inside can be adjusted in height from the outside by two nuts on the hardware to diffuse the light in the lampshade itself The shade consists out of a white Opaline glass top and a operate clear glass bottom that holds two opaline glass rings and a cap inside to create indirect light for the user (see photo 9) Both glass pieces are held together by a nickel plated brass ring with a clamp construction that enables you to change the light bulb inside A work of perfection with a very high functionality and supreme Bauhaus look.
