About the Item

Gilt sunburst leafed light fixture, metal, gold leaf. Spain, 1950s A hand-hammered gold gilt iron sunburst flower shaped ceiling light fixture with central exposed bulb. Richly decorated by the hammer marks thorough. It has alternating leaves in two sizes creating a sunburst frame. Nice aged patina showing its original gold leaf gilding. This ceiling sconce has all the taste of the Mid-Century Modern Hollywood Regency style. It can be placed flush mounted as ceiling light fixture or as a pendant hanging from a chain at the desired height. Choosing different bulbs you will obtain a different appearance.
