Great Mid-Century Modern set of lights with clouds and stars pattern in the glass shades. With more than 20 years of experience in selling antique and midcentury light fixtures we sold a good number of unique and excellent condition glass flush mounts from the 1950s and 1960s. However, in all our years we have never found or even seen one that came with the original pair of table lamps. We didn't even know such sets existed and previous owners have taken such great care of this set that even the extra glass shade that was made for the table lamps is still with this set and also in mint condition (see image 20). Because of the subject matter (clouds and stars) and because of the pair of table lamps this set may have been custom made for someone's bedroom. The table lamps would have graced the Midcentury nightstands and the large and mint condition flush mount would have been mounted to the ceiling of that same master bedroom. The large and stunning flush mount, again, is so much better looking in real life than in our photos. Also, because the clouds and stars pattern can be seen much better and the ever so light color blue also makes this work of art light fixture a real joy to own and to look at. These lights will arrive rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate in the USA as well and our US clients will be able to use regular American E26 screwthread bulbs. The large flush mount will take three 80 watt bulbs easily, but we feel three times 40 or 60 watts will more than suffice. Thanks to the metal hook inside the height adjustable and sizable brass canopy, safely mounting the flush mount tight to your ceiling (and over your junction box) is child's play. The table lamps too will arrive rewired, they will each take one regular American E26 screwthread bulb and we will even attach American power plugs. So if you already have a bedroom at home or a project (for a client) in mind for this Midcentury bespoke set of three then maybe you should be its next custodian.
