Great Mid-Century Modern design ceiling light with teakwood and brass gallery.
This vintage light fixture has a beautiful look and feel and you will hardly ever find a light fixture from the Mid-Century Modern era with a more timeless glass shade. The perfect, straight lined patterns are alternately transparent and beige and because of its timelesness it will also work very well in a 21st century, modern day interior. Unfortunately we don't know who the designer is, but judging from the pure midcentury design and the quality materials, we feel, this can only be by one of the bigger names in Scandinavian design. The combination of this flush mount's large size and its stylish design with the teakwood and brass elements makes it the perfect 'chandelier' to complement a mid-century modern living room, kitchen area, office or bedroom. There is a metal hook inside the height adjustable teakwood canopy via which you can mount this fixture in a matter of minutes. The cleanly striped glass shade, the teakwood elements and the nickel plated brass finial are all in superb condition. This stylish fixture has a sleek yet very calm look and feel and because of its two tone shade it will work beautiful in all kinds of color schemes. Some photos of this fixture were shot very close to a window which is why it was difficult not to get things reflecting in the extra large glass shade.
