Rare and great looking, early 20th century, large ceiling light.
With early 20th century lighting being one of our specialities, finding this rare and extraordinary flush mount felt like a blessing. It is clear that early 20th century craftsman in Europe have made some of the most beautiful light fixtures out there and both in terms of quality and design this rare flush mount is no exception to that. The combination of the striking, hand engraved glass shade and the golden coated bronze and brass gallery make it an absolute joy to own and look at. This stunning fixture is in very good condition and thanks to its fairly timeless design it can be used in an Arts & Crafts, but also in several other kinds of interiors. It can easily be mounted onto your ceiling by first screwing the bronze and brass ceiling plate onto your ceiling (via the holes in the brass cross) and then you can screw the glass shade on. Mind you, this very rare and highly stylish light fixture will arrive rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and you will be able to use five of your regular American screwthread bulbs of up to 80 watts each. This sizeable and striking antique flush mount will look great, no matter where you decide to install and enjoy it.
