Handmade and unique piece, black Marquina marble floor lamp by famous designer Josep Vila Capdevila. Vestige Small.
The collection Vestiges has a material and emotional involvement with memory. The author draws on the pieces in a post-apocalyptic atmosphere where all used vestiges lead us to a future of hope, placing a reflection about the trace of time. In this dystopian scenario, a bridging point between past and future or decadence and vanguard is created. Materials like marble play with steel or glass, creating utilitarian furniture of imperfect beauty.
Founder and Head Designer of Aparentment, Josep Vila is a multidisciplinary designer that has been linked to fashion, advertising, photojournalism and even music. In 2012, he launched his first collection of objects, Marblelous, that had an impact nationally and internationally. Since then, he has followed a design path towards experimentation and innovation working with noble, robust and lasting materials. Timeless and sophisticated signature design that supports local manufacturing and production. He has exhibited in many galleries and in Collectible Fair and Design Miami 2023.
