Chrome and Black Tripod Lamp with Hand-Painted Black Woven Grass Shade, In Stock

About the Item

The Horst Collection is inspired by the life and times of pioneering early 20th century lensman Horst P. Horst, who is credited with introducing color photography to a mass audience through his genre-defining fashion shoots for Vogue. Model No. 008 features a hand-painted woven-grass conical shade atop an upcycled vintage black-and-chrome German-made camera tripod, black fabric-covered cord, chrome fittings, and 40w LED bulb. The grass "spikes" on each shade are hand-painted in an alternating pattern of glossy and matte black acrylic. Chic du chic. Two in stock and ready to ship, but others available. Handmade in New York by artist Christopher Tennant.
