Good quality made, heavy bronze, medieval style serpent chandelier. This stylish and meaningful chandelier can be used with candles, but we can and will also perfectly rewire it to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the country you are in. It is one of the things that are included in our price. If you prefer it to be a candle chandelier then we will remove the faux candles and the old wiring. All handcrafted in the 19th century this unique and remarkable chandelier of practical size clearly has been looked after very well, because it is in excellent condition still. You hardly ever see it anymore in this day and age, but in the 1800s many types of handcrafted items had a deeper meaning to them also. This snake chandelier of practical size can be the perfect lighting solution to a space that needs a special atmosphere, but the first owner (and the ones thereafter) would certainly also think of the symbolic meaning associated with snakes/serpents. They have long been associated with life force and fertility, but because of the shredding of their skin they are most commonly associated with rebirth or the circle of life. This practical size chandelier comes with a matching chain and canopy and it has a wonderful patina and a really calm look and feel about it.
