Ikigai is a large handmade sculptural pendant lamp part of the Wonder Things Collection. The lamp is a unique blend of artisan craftsmanship and philosophical exploration. It is not just a lamp but a representation of the traditional Japanese philosophy of well-being, "Ikigai," or "life's purpose."
Its layering technique makes the piece a one-of-a-kind. The sculptural form, crafted while the piece was suspended in the air, ensures continuity and balance in the design, enhancing its uniqueness and artistic value.
Each Ikigai lamp is hand-carved from gypsum. Its white color is layered with off-white shades, adding depth and richness to its aesthetic.
