If you are passionate about early 20th century decorative art then you will love this striking flush mount. What you are seeing here is a one of a kind, hand painted glass pendant. With early 20th century lighting being one of our specialities, we can tell you that in our 25+ years of dealing in special light fixtures, we have had two light fixtures that were made with a similar technique and they had similar, nature inspired paintings. This one is signed Michel, which makes it most likely French, and it depicts what looks like a mountain lake with boats and trees and mountains and with birds flying all around. From the color of the leaves on the trees one can tell that this is a autumn scene and the colors in this hand painted chandelier are simply to die for, especially with the light on. Both on and off this rare light fixture is a work of art mounted on your ceiling and it will never fail to impress. This rare fixture with the hand painted mountain lake decor is now 100 years old and it is of such good quality and condition that it will at least hold for another 100 years and probably many more. One fine day, we feel, unique pendants like this could grace the collection of a fine art museum, but until then you could be its next custodian. This two light pendant with the replacement canopy too is professionally rewired for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and it will take two of your regular American E26 bulbs (LED as well).
