Pair of Glass Cube Sconces Wall Lights by Austrolux, Austria, 1960s
About the Item
A beautiful pair of Austrian sconces by Austrolux, Vienna, manufactured in the mid-century, circa 1960s (late 1960s or early 1970s). Each lamp consists of a silver-colored metal frame containing chrome-plated or nickel-plated elements and large geometric glass blocks in a brutalist style, similar to J.T.'s Kalmar products. Each Light Fixture requires two European E14 / 110 Volt Candelabra bulbs, each bulb up to 40 watts. Found at an estate sale in Vienna, Austria. These lights are a beautiful addition to any room, but also hang very well in your entry hall or near a mirror.
