Murano Glass Flush Mount Chandelier 1980s
About the Item
Mid-Century Modern Murano glass tear drop flush mount chandelier, Italy 1980s. In the manner of Venini.
The vintage flush mount is made of a brass & ivory round ceiling plate, and cascading Murano clear glass drops with Bullicante technique: consisting in incorporating air bubbles inside the thickness of the glass.
It creates a sparkling effect through the light.
Each Murano drop is attached with an individual chain in brass, which can adjust the flush mount’s height.
The space between the ceiling plate and the glass can be removed.
The Murano glass chandelier has 5 candelabra base lights, professionally rewired for the US.
The glass thickness and tiers create a translucent effect; and has a sparkling reflection when lit, with the air bubbles.
A very elegant and timeless Murano glass chandelier.
