About the Item
This stunning Modernist Hand-Blown Iridescent Murano Glass Feather Chandelier with Brass Fittings originates from Italy, 21st Century. Features 10 tiers of iridescent feather glass. These beautifully spaced individual elements are tapered at their attachment point and then beautifully swoop and expand outwards, creating a breathtaking multiplicity and a silhouette with density of detailing highly reminiscent of the natural arrangement of bird feathers from which this design pulls reference. The glass itself is semi-translucent with iridescent reflections, a lovely sky blue with hints of amber and rose hues when carefully observed. Subtle striations in the glass add additional informational density and beauty. This fixture will style powerfully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, this piece accommodates 18 Candelabra based bulbs achieving up to 1,080 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
