Mid-Century 5 Light Ceiling Fixture 1930s MCM Semi-Flush

About the Item

This cast iron and chrome fixture shows the distinct direction design & style was taking in the 1930s, moving from Art Deco to what we now call Mid-Century Modern, strong clean lines without the ornamentation common in the Art Deco era. The chrome has been polished to bring back its original luster and the cast iron portion has been repainted to match its original burgundy color. The burgundy color is a wonderful accent to the crispness of the chrome and the warm homeyness of the custard shades.. All original with the exception of the ceiling canopy which is new. All shades in excellent condition with noticeable chips and no cracks. Rewired with UL listed parts. Drop: 20 1/2 inches which cannot be adjusted. Width of fixture: 19 inches Width of ceiling canopy: 5 inches.
