About the Item
Pair of beautifully designed and crafted octagonally shaped and multi-faceted clear glass & polished brass Mid-Century Modern pendant lights. These minimalistic, Contemporary Art Deco, Lantern style lights or hanging ceiling lamps were designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson and manufactured by Limburg Glashütte, Germany, circa 1960-1969. These are the smaller of two sizes made by Limburg. We also have the larger pendants as well as a full range of Limburg lights from this range / style.
Newly rewired. Each lamp requires one standard E27 (E26 for U.S. customers) screw fit lightbulb (75Watt max.)
We can supply, free of charge, any length / drop of cable in almost any color / colour.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
