Stunning design and large in size, 19.8 inches in diameter antique hand carved alabaster light fixture.
Thanks to its large size and truly timeless design this beautiful alabaster chandelier from the European Art Deco era is bound to light up someone's days and evenings for a very long time. The striking black veins, but also many of the more translucent whiter veins and patches contrast even more when the light is switched on, because the already beautiful white alabaster then turns into a full moon-like white. Many of our interior design clients have already received incredibly positive feedback from their clients after installing one of our antique alabaster lights. Thanks to its exceptional design combined with the original matching design alabaster canopy, this three-light chandelier will work perfectly in a dining room, a large entrance, a kitchen area or in a master bedroom. Its timeless design is truly pleasing to the eye and it will look great in all kinds of interiors, also in a contemporary one. The stunning large shade is still in a good condition, after two hairlines on the inside of this striking alabaster shade have been professionally reinforced, making it, again, as strong and stable as it was when it was hand carved by a master craftsman over 100 years ago. We could shoot many more photos, but you still would not be able to see the true beauty of this shade and canopy, because in real life (or in person) this antique alabaster fixture is even better looking than in any of our photos. You can, again, take our word for it. This work of beauty was handcarved from one solid rock of alabaster and looking at the stunning veins and more translucent patches they could not have picked a more perfect antique rock to carve it from. Another great feature is the perfect blackened metal chain hanging and with the new wiring running through one of the chains, this flat shade pendant has an extra calm / serene look and feel. So this superbly balanced alabaster light is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and thanks to the chain we can also shorten this pendant to a height that would be ideal for you. Thanks to the metal hook inside the original, mint and height adjustable alabaster canopy, safely mounting this chandelier tight to your ceiling (and over your junction box) can be done in just a few minutes.
