Italian 18th Century Tuscan Tole, Giltwood and Gilt Iron Chandelier

About the Item

An exceptional and most unique Italian 18th century Tuscan twelve light patinated tole, giltwood and gilt iron chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a lovely inverted hexagonal giltwood finial below a fine horizontal fluted design. The unique and beautifully scrolled arms are staggered over two tiers and are adorned with wonderfully executed patinated tole acanthus leaves and carved giltwood pendants. Each arm displays hexagonal giltwood candle cups with pierced patinated tole covers. The superb central fut displays a most unique design with additional decoratively carved patterns. All original finish and gilt throughout.
