Important Palatial French Modernist Glass and Nickel Two-Tier Chandelier Petitot

About the Item

Enormous French octagonally shaped two-tier Petitot chandelier. Highly polished nickeled bronze armature holding horizontal glass rods, flat frosted glass insets and frosted and polished winged panels. The top bearing an illuminated glass rod stem with original canopy and fluted cap and the bottom ending in matching fluted crown finial. When viewed from beneath, the pattern created is a massive and magnificent radiating star burst design. 25 candelabra based sockets not including the stem sockets. Can hold either incandescent or LED bulbs. The stem can be adjusted in height (lengthened or shortened) if necessary for an extra fee. This very large chandelier can be used in a Palace, an entry foyer, building lobby, dining room or anywhere an outstanding statement is warranted.
