Golden murano glass chandelier with “Vere” decorations, 20th century, Italy.
This extraordinary chandelier was entirely made in the island of Murano, Italy, following the ancient glassmaking techniques. This masterpiece is rich in details and it is embellished by refined gold finishes. the Central holder sustains 6 arms with lights, alternated by wavy leaves. Each arm is decorated with a ring-shaped element called "vera" and a hanging flower. Another decorative flower hangs from the bottom of the chandelier.
A beautiful garden of leaves and flowers appears from a higher and smaller holder.
This chandelier is in perfect original condition, as documented in the attached photos. The professional rewiring of the chandelier, based on your country’s specifications, is included in the service as our courtesy.
