French Six-Light Crystal Chandelier with Iron Armature, Pendeloques and Obelisks

About the Item

A French six-light crystal chandelier from the 19th century, with iron armature and obelisk motifs. This exquisite French crystal chandelier features a central crystal column, topped with petite scrolls supporting various pendeloques. The chandelier's main section is connected to the six scrolling arms supporting the flower-shaped iron bobèches and their candle sleeves while the lower part is adorned with an abundance of crystals that seem to be dancing around a circular finial. The dark hue of the metal armature creates a perfect contrast with the translucent quality of the crystals, making this French six-light 19th century chandelier a wonderful choice to light up any home, from a living room to a bedroom. It is wired for the US and is ready to be hung.
