French Rectangular Six-Light Iron Chandelier w/C-Scroll Accent, Rewired for US
About the Item
A French six-light iron chandelier from the mid-20th century. This vintage chandelier from France has an over-all rectangular-shaped appearance with a pair of horizontally set, decoratively cut and pierced iron bars making up the center, giving support to three sets of lights which extend outward along each long side. The six arms, each with curled upper tips, swoop down and then back up again, terminating into iron cup bobèches with painted candle sleeves at their centers. The chandelier is connect to the top by shapely loops and wide-link chains from each far end, joining to the C-scrolled top piece. This black iron light fixture has a beautiful, aged patina throughout. This French chandelier has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match.
