French Gramophone Pendant Light
About the Item
A very creative repurposing of an antique phonograph horn, this French pendant light fixture is an inverted speaker, now wired to hold a single bulb. The diffuser of the lamp is an eyecatching red tole, the metal cone flaring out to a scalloped edge resembling an enormous petunia mounted with a brass ring at the top. Cloth-covered electrical cord in braided gold is the finishing touch for a historic look that will appeal to bohemian and more traditional decorating tastes. Recently rewired for US electrical using UL-listed parts, a standard base globe bulb is shown. Please view the detailed images.
