French 19th Century Louis XV Style Baccarat Crystal Chandelier

About the Item

A most impressive and large scale French Louis XV st. 19th century circa. 1870, ormolu and Baccarat crystal chandelier. With 12 electrified arms and a total of 17 lights and an extensive amount of exceptional crystals hanging on 'S' scrolled arms from an open ormolu frame. The center is decorated by five daggers and a hanging interior crystal ball. The top has a wide top crown counter balancing the importance of the bottom. All original gilt.
