French Brass Eight Light Chandelier With Fleur de Lis, Circa 1920 Large Scale
About the Item
French brass eight light chandelier decorated with fleur de lis, early 20th century. Beautifully crafted with a delicate bell shaped silhouette. Stylized floral motifs on top and spire shaped finial below, a band of fleur de lis in the center.
This chandelier has just been re-wired and polished.

A vintage French eight-light iron chandelier. This French chandelier from the mid-20th century features an overall rectangular shape which is made up of a horizontally positioned metal center beam with twists and has deeply swagged iron arms which drape over the beam in a rounded "w" shape. There top of this light is heightened from the post with a stylized fleur-de-lis sculpted metal element with scrolled accents. The eight arms support their iron bobèches, decorated with cut-outs of fleur-de-lis about their perimeters, and painted candle sleeves. This light fixture has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match. This heavily draped French iron chandelier would be that perfect touch hanging over a dining room table or large kitchen island.

Bronze D’ore Chandelier / Gasolier with Fleur De Lis Keys, French 19th Century

This fantastic Rococo-style chandelier features finely chiseled bronze d’ore. The piece was originally made for gas and uniquely sports horizontal fleur de lis key at the base of each cup to turn the flow of gas on and off. Dating back to the 19th century, the French antique piece offers bronze d’ore drippers, candle cups, and bobeches. This magnificent chandelier is suspended from a bronze d’ore floriate crown with a d’ore center adorned with outreaching acanthus leaves. Finally, the d’ore scroll arms themselves are acanthus leaves which curl into the d’ore candle cups. The piece is a store favorite, sitting above the desk of the owners, embodying the Rococo style with grace and style.
Each piece in our shop is professionally rewired and in working order. Each chandelier comes with a vintage canopy, three feet of chain, and ample wire, and is newly wired with UL approved wire and sockets and is fully operable.
