An elegant and large-sized Italian Renaissance-style two-tier chandelier. This vintage painted iron chandelier from Italy has a beautifully adorn central column body with two tiers of scrolling acanthus leaf designed arms (nine in total) curling outwardly about the perimeter, each supporting an acorn with crown bobèche with candle sleeve set within their center. A vintage French eight-light iron chandelier. This French chandelier from the mid-20th century features an overall rectangular shape which is made up of a horizontally positioned metal center beam with twists and has deeply swagged iron arms which drape over the beam in a rounded "w" shape. There top of this light is heightened from the post with a stylized fleur-de-lis sculpted metal element with scrolled accents. The eight arms support their iron bobèches, decorated with cut-outs of fleur-de-lis about their perimeters, and painted candle sleeves. This light fixture has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match. This heavily draped French iron chandelier would be that perfect touch hanging over a dining room table or large kitchen island.
