Dramatic Amber and Black Alabaster Light Fixture, Sweden, 1910-1920
About the Item
Carved from a single piece of stone, this masterfully carved alabaster light fixture features rich streaks of black and gray veins throughout. The upper edge of the shade curves slightly outward towards the rounded top edge. Oil rubbed bronze chains, a stylized canopy and lower corniche complete the hardware, which mounts three standard bulbs.
