About the Item
Clear Murano Glass and Unlacquered Brass Sputnik Chandelier, Italy. This Large 45" diameter Sputnik or starburst chandelier consists of clear Murano glass spikes and a polished but unlacquered brass frame which has a warm patina. There is a center brass sphere from which numerous brass arms project outward each ending in a solid clear glass spike. The sputnik body is suspended from a single brass rod. Superbly elegant in style and composition. Rewired for U.S. standards. This chandelier takes 32 LED light bulbs. Height measurement below is the overall height of this piece, including the brass rod and canopy. This chandelier is on display at the Gallery at 200 Lex at the New York Design Center.
