Stunning black and white hand carved alabaster chandelier with rare blue rope chain. This good size and excellent condition Art Deco pendant could not be more original. Every piece, from the alabaster canopy down to the excellent Art Deco shade is exactly like it was when it was first used in 1920. This very good condition alabaster pendant from the heydays of the European Art Deco era is extra special, because it also comes with the original and mint condition alabaster canopy and an even more rare, original blue 'rope chain'. The rope is no longer squeaky clean, but it is so rare that we decided to give it a shot. We (or you) can always decide to have it replaced by a matt black chain, like we do with many of our timeless antique pendant lights. There will always be people that don't like antiques, but we have never come across anyone who does not appreciate the look and feel of a marvelous alabaster pendant. Especially when it is as good and timeless as this light. This prime example radiates nothing but pure class and style and it will light up both your days and evenings. Switched on, the natural patterns generated by the black, but also by the fluorescent white veins in this shade are of a beauty that only Mother Nature can provide. The amazing patterns inside this shade simply cannot be captured in a photo. Especially with the light switched on this alabaster shade is unlike anything you ever saw.
