About the Item
Unusual and striking pattern, alabaster pendant.
The alabaster rock out of which this shade was hand-carved was consciously chosen for the stunning pattern inside the mineral stone. We have never seen an alabaster shade with such a 'flake pattern'. It is like looking into a snowstorm and the different colors make it stand out even more. Only Mother Nature is capable of creating this kind of beauty and with the help of an early twentieth century craftsman it became this now antique light fixture. Both with the light switched on and off, this very good condition light fixture is an absolute joy to own and look at. In some of our images the rim of the shade is not letting any light through, but that is only because the bulb was hanging to low. This rare pendant will look marvelous, no matter where you decide to hang it and we have rewired it to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well. Thanks to the hook inside the canopy this light fixture is safely mounted on your ceiling, within minutes.
