1960s Domed Benjamin Enamelled Pendant Lamps – 18 inch – Restored
1960s Domed Benjamin Enamelled Pendant Lamps – 18 inch – Restored. Benjamin was arguably the market leader in Industrial lighting in the 1930s through to 1960s. Their main market was providing tough enamelled lamps to large factories. Made from spun and enamelled steel they are the large 18 inch domed model. In exceptional original condition, the galleries have been stripped brushed and sealed. Sixty available, they are being sold singularly. These lamps are strong visual statements perfect for a hall, contemporary kitchen or living space. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern European CE standard components to BS EN 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to BS EN 60598. INCLUDED: Each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install including; 2 metres of chain for hanging the lamps, 2 metres of black silk covered electrical cable and a ceiling hook as shown. The lamp is fitted with a standard E27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend LED bulbs 6W maximum. We select the best colour/style of cable for each lamp but additional colours are available for different projects. Our alternative cable colours (in stock) are as shown in the images with numbered cables. If you wish to select a different cable colour please state the colour number in the comments at checkout. We can also supply more than 2 metres of hanging cable/wire/chain etc. as required, please contact us separately to discuss. We are specialists in refurbishment of vintage lighting, please contact us with any questions regarding purchase or installation. Listing is for one lamp, 60 available when listed.
