Early Incised Carved One-piece Gourd Rattle from Congo Africa.
Great (unknown) stories shown including a man, snake, two rhinos, a zebra (?) crocodile and on the other side a long snake winding around and biting the top of a man's head. Makes a great crisp sound when used as a rattle.
It is in good condition with a dings, stains and wear from traditional use and handling, appropriate for its age, use, and medium. Scuffs and nicks here and there.
