A Chess Set by Hans Teppich, Israel Circa 1950

About the Item

This exquisite Chess Set by Hans Teppich, crafted in Israel circa 1950, is a remarkable blend of artistry and craftsmanship. The set features a finely made wooden board with a classic checkered display, providing an elegant and functional playing surface. The chess pieces, meticulously crafted from brass, exhibit a striking contrast in black and gold, enhancing their visual appeal and lending a sense of sophistication to the set. Each piece reflects Teppich’s signature artistic touch, likely inspired by mid-century modern design influences and the rich cultural heritage of Israel.
