This cool looking, Art Deco style and two-piece cooler from the midcentury modern era has a lot going for it. It is all handmade of heavy brass which has been silver plated. The timeless design makes it very attractive to look at and highly practical to use. A design like this will look great in all kinds of interiors and that is the reason why we believe this rare piece will soon be picked up by one of our interior designer clients. We were not surprised to find that a piece of this quality was marked by its maker, but unfortunately we don't know who Wellner was. We would not be surprised if they (like so many quality makers) don't exist anymore, because when you make truly durable pieces of high quality like this then you will have very few repeat buyers.
