Mary Chilton by Towle four-piece sterling silver tea set. This Classic looking set includes a three-piece tea set and a hot water kettle, circa 1920. They are marked with #7669 and the pieces have an "H" monogram (see pics). The set includes:
Kettle on stand: Measures 12 1/2" tall, 10" wide, and it weighs 45.0 ozt.
Coffee pot: Measures 8" tall, 11 1/4" wide, and it weighs 22.0 ozt.
Sugar bowl: Measures 7 1/4" tall, 9" wide, and it weighs 15.1 ozt.
Creamer: Measures 5 1/4" tall, 6 1/2" wide, and it weighs 7.8 ozt.
The pieces are in excellent condition.

This exceptional antique sterling silver spirit tea kettle has a plain circular tapering form, in the design style.
The posterior surface of this plain kettle is embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest displaying a bird of prey addorsed and elevated, grasping in the claws a serpent nowed.
Either side of the kettle is ornamented with two plain sterling silver dowel style pegs, allowing the kettle to sit securely on the stand.
