Italian baroque coffee pot in 800 silver

About the Item

Italian Baroque style coffee pot in 800 solid silver, perfect copy of a coffee pot made by Domenico Tiomi in the first half of the 1700s. The exceptionality of the original piece, as well as the perfect harmony of the lines, derives from the fact that it is one of the very rare examples of silverware made in a small city, Macerata - Marche - Italy, outside the traditional circuits of the time. Today the original is in the Falanga collection - Milan - Italy. This coffee pot, a perfect replica of the original, has large vertical moldings that follow the body and determine the shape of the base. The lid knob is in the round and was made in fusion. It represents a putto looking at his little foot. The handle of the coffee pot is made of solid wood, worked and engraved completely by hand, giving it a sinuous shape appropriate to the elegance of the shapes and proportions of the coffee pot.
