Set of Six Mid Century French Sculptural Brutalist Nickel Place Holders

About the Item

This sophisticated set of six Brutalist place holders were realized in France, circa 1970. They feature tapered rectangular bodies with dappled faceted ends that connect at a perpendicular angle to a vertical spear of the same form. Three sculptural tapered forms, including one with a curvilinear detail- all with beveled cubic tops- extend upwards to secure the place card. With their highly unusual, idiosyncratic Brutalist aesthetic and beautiful craftsmanship, these place holders promise to add more than a touch of refinement to any table setting. They are in excellent vintage condition. France, circa 1970 Dimensions: 3.5"W x 1.75"D x 2.5"H.
