Rare Set of 12 Durand Hand Blown Optic Rib Tumblers with Applied Green Rims

About the Item

This is a stunning set of 12 hand blown optic ribbed crystal tumblers made by Victor Durand who worked for L.C. Tiffany before opening his own factory in Vineland, NJ. Each one is uniquely shaped in an Art Nouveau style floriform motif. The composition of the glass, called "Spanish Yellow" has a subtle iridescence and the foot has a folded rim. The top rim is further embellished with green applied trim creating a lovely contrast. They feel great in the hand and even better filled with your favorite beverage. Made in America ca. 1920s, all in excellent condition.
