The Silver Crane Company English Ceramic Parker Pen Pottery Desk Tidy
About the Item
A scarce novelty ceramic lidded desk tidy modeled as a Parker fountain pen made by The Silver Crane Company and made under licence from The Parker Pen Co. Ltd in 1984. The large box forms a fountain pen with a large nib to one end and the cap over the other end and forming part of the cover which reveals a two section compartment, one for pens and the other probably for ink cartridges. The cover has the distinctive Parker arrow shaped clip. The box is decorated in polished black glazes with gilded elements emulating one of the most classic styles produced by Parker. With printed makers marks to the base and the date 1984. This has to be a must for every serious pen collector!
