French terracotta jar. Traditional large earthenware pottery jar from South West France with brown glaze. This vessel was used from the 19th to the mid-20th century to conserve food. The handmade nature of these pots makes each one unique Very decorative. Good authentique patina. Good antique condition Please note: chips on the neck and at the bottom of the jar (see last two photos). The marks of use are not structural and therefore do not weaken the object.
