Vintage Faberge Russia Style Cobalt Blue Glass Egg Etched Imperial Garnishment
About the Item
A fine quality large antique/vintage Russian hand-blown engraved cobalt blue glass egg attributed to Faberge or St. Petersburg Glassworks and probably dating from the 20th century. The egg is hollow hand blown and signed with a Label at the ground. The egg is finely engraved with a simple repeat patterned design around the body and with a wreath design to the top which has been hand painted with gilt decoration. Such pieces were made by Faberge or later from St. Petersburg Glassworks. A nice addition to any collection or just to display or use as a paperweight.
