James Powell & Sons Pair Opalescent Yellow Uranium Glass Vases

About the Item

An exceptional pair English Art Nouveau opalescent yellow uranium glass vases by James Powell & Sons and dating from around 1890. The vases stand on a wide rounded foot with a narrow widening body with a molded ribbon twist running through the body of the glass and with a wide flower shaped pinched top. The vases shine a florescent green with a blue light and are not marked. In very good condition with light wear associated with age and use. A small bit of dirt residue inside the base of both vases which we have not tried to remove.
