SIGNED Flygsfors Coquille Black Glass Bowl by Paul Kedelv 1959

About the Item

A stunning Scandinavian biomorphic glass sculpture bowl or ashtray. Signed to the base "Flygsfors 59, Coquille", and still bears the original factory label (worn). Consists of black & white glass encased in clear glass. Made by the Swedish firm Flygsfors in 1959 and designed by Paul Kedelv, part of his organic "Coquille" range. The black glass is actually a very dark purple, which can be seen when held up to the light. Please note: the plastic stand is for display purposes only and is not included. Size Measures approx 2 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point. Condition Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
