About the Item

Made from high-quality crystal glass, these Luminarc wine glasses made in France feature a unique ribbed, beehive-style green stem paired with a clear bowl, offering both elegance and a retro vibe. They are hand blown. When clicked together, they produce a beautiful ringing sound, a testament to their fine crystal craftsmanship. These glasses are called "roemer" glasses, which is a style, not a brand or maker. It means a wine glass with a green base that looks coiled topped by a clear bowl. The first roemer glasses were produced in the 16th century along the Rhine in Germany and in the Netherlands. • Height: 5-1/8 inches • Base Diameter: 3-1/8 inches Each holds .2 liters or roughly 6.8 oz. Very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or superficial scratches. These glasses are in pristine condition.
