Rare colorful and Stylish Set of Midcentury Modern French Drinking Glasses

Museum quality and condition midcentury glasses.
You can regularly find the perfect midcentury drinks table, dresser or sidetable, but to find a set of 10 beautifully designed and handcrafted mid-century glasses in perfect condition is like the proverbial needle in a haystack. So, here is your needle and for us to have found it in this perfect condition more than made our day. We are certain these mid-century glasses are going to look amazing on somebodies drinks table or serving tray soon. You just don't find stylish, Mid-Century Modern glasses anywhere in the world. We were lucky enough to have found them in an antiques shop in the south of France. They will not bring us financial wealth, but we are proud to be able to offer them to our 1stdibs clientele, because we consider them to be among 'the most beautiful things on earth'. In image 4 and 14 we have placed a regular size softdrink can among these rare glasses so that you get a better idea of their size.

This cool looking, Art Deco style and two-piece cooler from the midcentury modern era has a lot going for it. It is all handmade of heavy brass which has been silver plated. The timeless design makes it very attractive to look at and highly practical to use. A design like this will look great in all kinds of interiors and that is the reason why we believe this rare piece will soon be picked up by one of our interior designer clients. We were not surprised to find that a piece of this quality was marked by its maker, but unfortunately we don't know who Wellner was.
