6 Marc Newson 4 1/2 Inch Tall Highball Glasses for Iittala

About the Item

Six highball glasses designed by Marc Newson for iittala in 1998 and made in Finland. The glasses are rare and have been out of production for awhile now. Statement from the Marc Newson website: "Designed for the Finnish company iittala, Marc wanted the glassware to be thin, lightweight, and elegant. All three glass sizes were made from the same mould, each cut off at a different height, thus requiring only one tool." The six highball glasses are the largest size measuring approximately 4 1/2 inches tall, 2 3/4 inches wide at the top and 3 5/8 inches wide at the base. Four of the glasses have the original iittala stickers, all the glasses are acid etched: Marc Newson / iittala.
