Set of Three Modern Murano Glass Goblets, Blue, Red and Amethys

About the Item

Set of three modern Murano glass goblets, completely handmade and mouth-blown. This striking set is made of three complementary goblets, one in clear, other in red color and one in blue. The gold stems feature a ridged pattern and are adorned by a matching colored trim, a 24-karat gold leaf was used both for the stem and the trim. If you take a moment to view the goblets in detail, you will appreciate their recurring theme: the "strozzatura" (narrowing) featured on the cup as well as on the stem. This narrowing was achieved by the glass-master through a delicate pressure on the hot glass, while shaping the cup and then the stem. Measurements: Red 10.23in height, 3.54 in diameter Blue 9.84in height, 3.74 in diameter Clear 10 in height, 3.54in diameter.
