About the Item

Spectacular mid-century Italian ashtray in curved leather and cut crystal glass. This incredibly elegant and unique piece is attributed to the mastery of Pietro Chiesa and was produced in Italy during the 1950s. It is signed on the bottom. In fantastic conditions, with no chips or cracks. The outstanding quality of the cut crystal glass paired with the sinuous base in curved leather make the ashtray absorb and reflect light in an incredibly charming way. A masterpiece of Italian Design. The crystal ashtray has 4 notches and can be removed from the leather base.
